In honour of the fab Copy and Paste Project becoming the grand young age of one, I have made them some party bunting. As you know, I have an almost unreasonable love of bunting. It is also my entry to their contributor competition – they have lots of clever arty folks joining in their birthday party 7-9 May and they are offering the opportunity to contribute a guest post to a twitter and a blog follower.
How to enter and the inspiration they've provided to be copied is all here. I took the colour scheme from the Charlie and Lola book cover and created this length of bunting, made from fabric swatch books found abandoned in a remainder bin. I hope you, and they, like it!

Eek! You super-superstar. I love it! A party really isn't a party unless it has bunting, I think - even more important than snack-foods on sticks.
Thanks so much for playing along. :)

Now for something completely unrelated to your post, I had a question. I vaguely remember you mentioned using olive oil as a eye make-up remover. I would like to try this, however I was wondering how wether you put your reusable make-up remover pads (I bet you have those) in the washing machine afterwards? Don't they make stains on pieces of clothing when washed together? (my ultimate nightmare)
I hope this doesn't sound like a dumb question, but I'm not Mrs Bartolozzi (yet). I hope you can help me!

Hi Nienke, thanks for your comment. It's actually a mixture of equal parts olive oil, rapeseed oil and castor oil that I use as an eye make-up remover. I have yet to find reuseable pads or cloths that are soft enough to use on my eyelids without irritating the skin. I'd rather not use disposable pads but I try to use as few as possible and only buy organic cotton pads.
Hope that helps and if you find super soft cloths that don't irritate sensitive skin, do let me know!
