In case you hadn't heard me squealing from my rooftop, let me tell you that I am super excited because one of my handmade products is featured in Marie Claire magazine this month!
The Christmas issue (yes I know it's still October but the December issue is out tomorrow, 28 October) has several shopping guide pages and my recycled paper heart bunting is featured on the Ethical Girl page! I cannot tell you how excited and downright chuffed I am that something I've made is pictured in such an enormously successful magazine as Marie Claire. And only four months after I launched my handmade business, the green gables.
So, here is the page for you to gaze upon:
And here's a close-up of the recycled paper heart bunting in question:
As well as pink I also make it in shades or red, yellow and orange, and purple. All colours are sold at my notonthehighstreet shop and also in my etsy shop, and soon in my own webshop. It's super eco-friendly bunting because the 12 hearts are handcut from thick recycled paper printed with soy inks, and are threaded on 2.5m of jute string (you can have skinny satin ribbon if you'd prefer). Plus I post every order wrapped in recycled tissue paper in a reused jiffy bag envelope!
It's a giveaway!
To celebrate the green gables appearing in Marie Claire magazine I am giving you the chance to win your own length of recycled paper heart bunting!
The winner can choose which bunting colour way they'd like – pink, red, purple or yellow/orange – and the hearts will be threaded on jute string. The giveaway is open to everyone, wherever in the world you might be.
All you have to do to be in with a chance of winning is leave me a comment below telling me who, what or where you are 'hearting' at the moment. You have until Sunday 3pm GMT to enter, good luck!
PS This issue of Marie Claire has Rhianna on the front cover and comes with a free ethical bracelet, so that's another reason to grab a copy!

Well done you! They look gorgeous - I'm especially taken with that yellow set

First, CONGRATULATIONS on your toot in Marie Claire! That is one of my must have and "heartables". I definitley am such a girly girl and anything with hearts or having hearts on it is a collectable for me! I ♥♥♥♥♥ your heart banners! :) Right now my biggest love is to make a fresh hot cup of tea, put my warm jammies on, and cosy up in my chair here for some good blog reading! To be honest there is not much that I really love more than those few quiet and peaceful moments to refresh and recharge just for me! I ♥ IT! LOL

I love the huge leaves in gorgeous colours that are lying around underfoot just now - are the colours extra amazine this year, or is it just me?
Congratulations, and thanks, a good reason to treat myself to a Christmas edition of a magazine.
