What is not lovely about this photo? Nothing! The flowers, the blue glasses, the lighting, the composition – all just lovely. My mum and I were remarking the other day about how beautifully paper-thin poppy petals are but how resiliant to rain and wind they are too. They look fragile but they're obviously made of stern stuff really.
